Roberto Cavalli

Spring 2007 Collection

Roberto Cavalli Eyewear collection produced by Marcolin for this season satisfy the needs of the modern nomads, curious of the world, of its colors and its traditions, underlining its femininity with whim and bravery.

Frames:

Frames are large and wrapping in pantographed acetate with simple or relief works; colors are sweet and shaded with mother of pearl streaking. The lenses are shaded and smokey-effect not hiding completely the glance.

Logo

The logo is presented in various versions. Beside the gothic style initials, studded with Swarovski crystals, there is now a new logo, soft in shape, a reminiscence of the '80s.

Sides

With the large and shaped ones, the new sides are in golden metal, with a piton effect work.

In the sporty version glasses, with drop shaped lenses, we have inserted a tubular metal mesh both on the light sides as well as on the double bridge.

RC305S: Extremely daring sunglasses. Considerable dimensions, large wrapping effect and rich details. Double front, enriched by a row of Swarovski crystals to brighten the logo placed on the bridge.

Ferrari Eyewear

Ferrari Eyewear: wear the legend

The Ferrari name has been synonymous with motor sports since 1929 and car manufacturing since 1947. Ferrari embodies excellence in Italian design, technology and quality. The launch of Ferrari Eyewear pays homage to Ferrari's history, iconic imagery and signature detailing.

The renowned Ferrari emblem of the Prancing Horse is incorporated on the frame, rotating temples are reminiscent of the "gull's wing" doors of the supercar "Enzo", and the eyewear features sprung frames. The collection also borrows the Ferrari Burgundy, to highlight the brand's signature colour. Although designed primarily for men, Ferrari glasses are unisex and can also be worn by women keen to embrace the world of this elite car.

Ferrari Eyewear features a range of eighteen models within two clear themes: Luxury and Sport Elite. Offering two takes on the Ferrari brand, these styles show the brand versatility without compromising its tradition of luxury and exclusivity.

The Luxury range also includes aviator shapes, in gloss black titanium with bridge in palladium white, or in coffee brown with rose gold touches.

The shapes range from soft geometries to angular square shapes, forged in titanium with carbon fibre inserts, in matt or gloss aluminium. A brown tortoiseshell style features large lenses, and appeals to both sexes.

The Luxury series offers a nod to saddlery, reflected in the collection's detailing.

Red leather is set at the temples, frames incorporate velvety-effect charcoal aluminium, whilst the Prancing Horse emblems are visible in silvery nuances and enclosed in the round perimeter of the badge, at the top of the side of the frames. The chromatic variant is very sophisticated, combining

the frame with Havana brown coloured leather temples with stitched edges.

The Sport Elite series takes a bold stance in dramatic styles.

Mirrored lenses contrast against black frames with fillets of bright red metal. Rounded or aerodynamic-effect charcoal masks fly the flag for Ferrari, as they end at the temples in Italy's patriotic red, white and green.

The black Horse against the bright yellow background of the Ferrari logo forms the leitmotif for six models.

The shapes with a sportier, more urban look emphasise the colour contrast, by extending the bright red over the metal mounts and onto the temple details.

The spring flexibility is transferred to the ebony frame of the model with smoked lenses.

Function meets fashion as Ferrari provides a "Iens-changer" facility, making it possible to detach and replace the lenses.

Graduated dark colours in shades of black dominate the Ferrari Eyewear collection. Exceptions include blue-gray nuances and rims in chromed charcoal or dark Havana brown and degrade brown lenses.

The eighteen different frames are available in multiple lens and colour variants, creating a total collection of approximately sixty glasses.

The cases for Ferrari Eyewear also reflect the brand's signature detailing, featuring a sturdy leatherette exterior with the embossed Horse emblem. Inside, the Ferrari name is printed in bright red contrasting against black flock fabric. Branding also appears on the lens cloth and is printed in dark, toning shades of micro-fibre.

FR8S: This pilot, with double bridge, nylor version, forms part of the Luxury range. The extreme lightness of the shape is enhanced by the exclusive materials: titanium for the front and carbon fibre insert on the temple. The temple tips in bi-injected convey absolute comfort.
